Drop shipping, Wholesale? How Does Shein Do It?

Shein, Temu, Wish, and probably a whole lot of others too. But seriously, how do they manage to do it? How is it possible to sell so many products at such cheap prices? I’ll tell you—there’s got to be more to the story!

Have you ever heard of drop shipping? What about wholesale? I mean, really, is getting a wholesale license all it takes to start selling? It seems almost too straightforward, doesn’t it?

Most folks have no idea you can actually do this! Seriously, a lot of people don’t even realize that the Walmart shirt they just bought was only about a buck when Walmart scooped it up. You see, Walmart has this wholesale license, which gives them the scoop on all these catalogs. And those catalogs are loaded with different vendors—basically warehouses—churning out those huge clothing hauls.

Now, picture yourself as the warehouse that supplies these clothes. Can you believe how they manage to sell at such ridiculous prices? It’s like they cut out the middleman and decided to throw a DIY fashion show! I mean, who wouldn’t want to be their own boss and set up a shop in their garage? Talk about a stroke of genius, or should I say, a “jean-ius” idea!

Dropshipping is a cool way for online boutiques and stores to avoid holding onto a bunch of inventory. The prices might be a bit higher than buying in bulk wholesale, but it has its perks—though there are some downsides too. At the end of the day, it’s just all about the business vibe!

Shein is clearly engaged in dropshipping while offering competitive price points. Their prices are indeed fair, but they don’t quite match the rock-bottom rates of Temu or Wish, which reinforces the notion that they are following a dropshipping model.

So, are you finally ready to jump into the wild world of retail and open a store, or are you just going to keep shopping for that perfect moment?
